Laurel Forge is located in Connecticut's rural northeast "Quiet Corner" within an hour's drive from both Hartford, CT and Providence, RI. The blacksmith shop makes its home on one end of a large barn nestled amid a large stand
of mountain laurel.
Mark Schlehofer has been practicing the art of blacksmithing since 2001, taking classes to learn basic techniques and spending many hours over the anvil to explore and discover what hides within a simple piece of metal.
